There are actually multiple neighborhoods running through this area. I include them together because they have a similar look and feel. They run from Sunrise Blvd. the entire length of Bayview road and are between the intercoastal and US-1. The (4) neighborhoods in order running south to north are, Bayview (Sunrise to Oakland Park) Bayview County Club (Oakland Park to Commercial) The Landings (Commercial to Bay Colony) and Bay Colony (the northern most and exclusive gated community off Bayview Drive). The homes in this area tend to be larger, on larger lots, many of which are on the water. These neighborhoods are home to the several exclusive places such as Cardinal Gibbons a private High School, Coral Ridge Country Club and the Coral Ridge Yacht Club. These neighborhoods remain some of the most coveted areas of Fort Lauderdale.
SOME OF MY FAVORITE THINGS – Many of the streets are beautifully tree-lined and with the exception of Bay Colony, the area is not gated, so these neighborhoods can be great for a Sunday afternoon of getting lost through the streets looking at these gorgeous homes.
