Originally developed at the same time and being sold at a higher price than their eastern neighbor of South Middle River, they were the larger more desirable alternative back then. Today as we see South Middle River progress as a more affordable option to pricey Wilton Manors, even homes in that neighborhood have become unaffordable to many. Lauderdale Manors with its windy streets is positioning itself as the next transitional neighborhood to take off.
SOME OF MY FAVORITE THINGS – What’s exciting with this neighborhood is the opportunity to watch the re-development of the area happen, I would expect to see many of these homes to be purchased and completely redeveloped with some unique designs. This area is good for those who want quick access to I-95 or for heading out west with a couple good shortcuts. To the south if you exit NW 15th you can be at I-95 in about a minute. There is also NW 19th Street, which is in the northern area of the neighborhood and connects powerline, under I-95 all the way to US-441. This road is not heavily travelled and it’s a great alternative when trying to head west.
